Art Meets Jazz – Autumn Festival at Kloster Schönthal

On Sunday, 6 September, we warmly invite you to join us for our Autumn Festival. Guests are welcome from 11:30 am, before a concert by musicians from JazzCampus Basel opens the programme at 12:00 pm. This will be followed by guided tours of the church and sculpture park with artist Andrea Wolfensberger and Luca Selva, President of the Kloster Schönthal Association.

No registration is required. The event is free of charge for our Friends of Kloster Schönthal.

Exhibition

Site-specific works by Richard Long remain on view in the church and courtyard. In the Abt Hall, we present new works on paper by David Nash.

Guided tours

New this year: We are offering public guided tours for the first time! These take place on the first Sunday of each month, start at 1:00 pm, and last approximately one hour. The fee is CHF 15, plus regular admission.
