PETER KAMM Five Stones |
|
2000. Rohrschach sandstone The stone sculptor Kamm developed his idiom of forms from the flora of nature, microscopic organisms and deep ocean phenomena and also from the results of geological processes. Formal associations with fossils mean that not only the type of material but also its history is at issue. A stone is constantly being transformed and offers a stratified story of its past life. Born in Aarau in 1958, Kamm now lives and works in St. Gallen and Arbon. |
